   Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Associated Press)-President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club failed to enforce local mask ordinances during the New Year’s Eve spree, which resulted in warnings but no fines or other penalties.

Palm Beach County wrote to club manager Bernd Lembcke on Wednesday, telling him that future violations of the county’s coronavirus regulations could result in fines of up to $15,000 each. He wrote: "During our visit, your recognition and commitment to enforcing these laws was obvious." Palm Beach County was severely hit by the virus, reporting 90,000 cases and nearly 2,000 deaths. Its population is 1.5 million.
